Alcitron Mail
Professional email on your business's own domain
Mailboxes for your team, aliases such as sales@ and billing@, and every message signed so receiving servers can check it comes from you. Your domain stays where it is registered.

Mailboxes and aliases
An address for each person, and one for each job
Each person on your team has a mailbox of their own, such as ana@yourbusiness.com. Aliases such as sales@ deliver to the mailboxes you choose, a mailbox can forward a copy of its mail, and a catch-all collects what arrives for addresses that do not exist.

Signed and protected
The DNS records, ready to copy and checked for you
Your client area lists every record your domain needs (MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC) with its value ready to copy, and checks each one until your DNS provider publishes it. Every message leaves signed with DKIM, and connections without encryption are refused.

How to start
Request an account
Sign up with your business's domain. It stays registered where it is.
We review it
We review every request before hosting a domain. Once it is approved, your client area shows the records to publish.
Publish the records
Copy them into your DNS provider; the page marks each one as soon as it is published.
Use your mailboxes
We create the mailboxes and aliases you need, and your team reads its mail in the webmail or in its usual program.
Questions
Do I have to move my domain?
No. It stays with your registrar; you only publish a few DNS records, which your client area shows you with their values.
Does it work with my mail program and my phone?
Yes. Standard IMAP, POP3 and SMTP, always encrypted; the connection settings are on this page. There is also a webmail that opens in any browser.
What happens to the mail at my current provider?
It stays there until you copy it: a mail program with both accounts can move it. New mail arrives here once you publish our MX record and remove the old one.
Why is every account reviewed?
A mail server that accepts anyone ends up sending spam, and that harms the delivery of every customer's mail. Reviewing each domain before hosting it protects yours.
Is my mail read for advertising?
No. We do not sell data or use it for advertising. Your messages are stored and sent only to run the service.
Can I leave whenever I want?
Yes. Your domain is yours: point its MX record to another provider and new mail goes there; copy what you already have with any IMAP program.
Connect a mail client
Use your full address as the user name. Plain-text sign-in without TLS is refused.
